OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL BUDGET OFFICER
This office performs functions relative to local government budgeting and management services of the municipality. It provides technical assistance in the budget process in both the executive and legislative departments of the LGU, as well as to its component barangays.
* To ensure balance budgeting thru proper utilization of resources in accordance with the approved plans of the government for the delivery of basic services to the constituents.
* To assist the Mayor in the implementation and management of programs, projects and activities through proper allocation of appropriation as approved in the local budgets.
* To assist the Sangguniang Bayan in the evaluation and budgetary implications of proposed legislations.
* To safeguard the appropriations for every PPA as incorporated in the approved Annual Investment Programs for both Annual and Supplemental Budgets.
* To ensure efficient, effective and responsive delivery of basic budgeting services & provision of adequate public budgeting assistance to the Barangay governments.
